Many purchasers of Spanish Property are unaware that it is possible to have a Building Survey on their property in exactly the same way as a survey in the United Kingdom.  In the UK it is often the norm to have a Building Survey on a property prior to exchange of contracts.  It is equally important, indeed if not more so, for British clients to have such a Survey when purchasing in Spain, carried out by a British Chartered Surveyor.
